Garden Design

Let us design a garden where you can find endless joy! All garden designs are created by a certified Gardenary designer who will take the time to understand your needs, goals, and budget.

Our garden design services are for gardeners of any skill level who want or need more hands-on help getting their new garden started.

Prior to meeting with your garden consultant, we will send a brief questionnaire so that we can get some background information before we begin designing your garden. From there, we’ll schedule a one-on-one consultation, which can take place in person or via video conferencing (your choice). We will look at your space, get to know your gardening needs and goals, style preferences, discuss budget, and brainstorm ideas. We will work within your budget to achieve a beautiful garden.

After the consultation, you will receive:

• Custom garden concept design, tailored to your space and needs

• Materials list

• Seasonal planting recommendations

• Instructions for ongoing tending, pruning, fertilizing

Small Garden Design (up to 100 square feet planted area): $250

Large Garden Design (up to 300 square feet planted area): $500

Price will increase for gardens over 300 square feet, additional locations, designs, and planting plans. Please contact us for details. Following consultation, deliverables are sent via email. Typical lead time is two weeks but varies depending on volume. At time of consultation booking, Happy Garden Place will provide you with an estimated lead time on deliverables. Text support is offered at no additional charge for 60 days following delivery of garden design.
